Within Mount Diablo Unified, students are our first priority.  When all decisions are made with the outcome benefiting students' education, as well as providing for their social and emotional needs, we will always be headed in the right direction.  In this endeavor, our teachers must feel trusted and respected knowing that they are supported by the district and board, and can seek guidance and assistance, as needed.  Parents are the first and foremost teachers of their children.  As such, open communication and positive relationships with parents can only enhance our students' education as we fully embrace parents as partners in education.  I believe in being honest and thoughtful when making decisions, with integrity, even when difficult choices have to be made.  Lastly, an open, constructive and forthright relationship between the board, administration and staff must exist for the ultimate benefit of our students.
